We’re much more sophisticated about the kinds of options that we have for breakfast in the morning. In the past, many of us would have been content to reach for some kind of fast food item, but since have become increasingly discriminating to protect ourselves and the health of their loved ones.

Nutritionists have introduced new ways to get people their vitamins and minerals by using the old-world foods that have been with us for untold centuries, and that’s where oats truly shine. The method of letting oats sit overnight makes the task of preparing food easy and carefree.
There are several nutritious ingredients in this recipe: our friend the oats, of course, chia, raspberries, and if you choose, pistachios.
You won’t find a grain that is much healthier than oats. With essential vitamins and minerals, needed fiber, antioxidants, and the added benefit of being gluten-free, we reap many benefits of including this humble grain in our diet.
From ancient Aztecs to Native Americans, chia seeds have been a staple in diets for a very long time. An excellent source of fiber along with protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and other vitamins, chia seeds have found a deserved place in our diets today.
Flavorful and low in calories, raspberries give us potassium, which is essential to heat function. They also have omega-3 fatty acids and manganese, which we need for healthy bones and skin.
Why should you consider including pistachios in your raspberry chia overnight oats? These slightly sweet nuts are a cholesterol-free food with a number of helpful vitamins and minerals. It is important to remember that over indulging may not be good for your waistline, but the small amount of pistachios in this recipe would be okay for most healthy adults.
