Maple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Simple recipe using old fashioned rolled oats that will warm your body, heart, and soul.

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (old fashioned)
  • 1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chopped pecans (optional)


  • Combine water or milk, salt, and vanilla in a pan; bring to a boil.
  • Add the oats and simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes; remove from heat.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  • Stir in the maple syrup and cinnamon; add pecans if desired.
  • Enjoy!
