Maple Cinnamon Oatmeal
Simple recipe using old fashioned rolled oats that will warm your body, heart, and soul.

- 1/2 cup rolled oats (old fashioned)
- 1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chopped pecans (optional)
Combine water or milk, salt, and vanilla in a pan; bring to a boil.
Add the oats and simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes; remove from heat.
Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken.
Stir in the maple syrup and cinnamon; add pecans if desired.
